Refund Policy
1. Overview
At Shrixxenyz, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which you may return products and receive a refund. This policy complies with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (Kuluttajansuojalaki 38/1978, as amended), and the Finnish Act on Consumer Protection in Distance Selling (Kuluttajansuojalaki 5 luku 16 a §).
2. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)
As a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. This is known as the "cooling-off period."
2.1 How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement before the 14-day period expires. You can do this by:

Please include your order number, name, address, and date of the withdrawal request. We can provide you with a model withdrawal form on request; use of the form is optional.
2.2 Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the delivery costs (except for supplementary costs if you chose a delivery method other than our standard delivery). The reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive the returned goods or proof of return.
3. Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return under the right of withdrawal:
- The product must be unused and in its original condition
- The product must be in its original packaging
- The seal must not be broken (for hygiene and health protection reasons)
- You must return the product within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal
3.1 Products Exempt from Return
In accordance with EU consumer law, the following are exempt from the right of withdrawal:
- Products that have been opened or had their seal broken (for health protection and hygiene reasons, as per Article 16(e) of the Consumer Rights Directive)
- Products that have been partially consumed or used
- Products that have been damaged by the customer
4. Defective or Damaged Products
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement regardless of whether the seal has been broken. Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with:
- Your order number
- Description of the issue
- Photos of the damaged or defective product
We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
5. Return Shipping
5.1 Standard Returns (Right of Withdrawal)
You are responsible for the cost of returning the products unless otherwise agreed. We recommend using a tracked shipping service as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
5.2 Defective/Damaged Products
If the product is defective or damaged upon arrival, we will cover the return shipping costs. Please do not return items without contacting us first.
6. Refund Process
6.1 Inspection
Once we receive your return, we will inspect the product and notify you of the status of your refund within 5 business days.
6.2 Approved Refunds
If your return is approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method. Please note:
- Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned product
- Your bank may take additional time to process the refund (typically 5-10 business days)
- Original shipping costs are refunded only for standard delivery methods
6.3 Declined Refunds
If your return does not meet our conditions, we will contact you to explain why and return the product to you at your expense.
7. Cancellations
You may cancel your order before it has been shipped by contacting us immediately. Once an order has been dispatched, you must follow the standard return process.
8. Legal Guarantee
In addition to the right of withdrawal, you have a legal guarantee under EU law that products must conform to the contract for at least 2 years from delivery. If a product does not conform, you have the right to:
- Have the product brought into conformity (repair or replacement)
- Receive a price reduction
- Have the contract terminated and receive a refund

- Pack the product securely in its original packaging
- Include your order number and return reason

10. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.
